This is pretty much my favorite scene featuring Reese’s face — and there are a lot of great scenes featuring his face, let me tell you. Despite that, I would still pick this scene without hesitation. Maybe it’s the sunlight, maybe it’s his thoughtfulness, but he just seems particularly beatific here, despite the fact that in the scene prior, with Joey’s waitress girlfriend, he was being kind of a creeper. But looking at his face here, as he’s resigned himself to turning Joey in, is like looking at the sun - an unexpectedly warm winter sun (I DON’T KNOW DON’T ASK ME TO EXPLAIN THAT).
I also really like what he wore here, too, and I lament the absence of this ensemble.
Disagree that this is his best face? I welcome all rebuttals in the form of PHOTO EVIDENCE.
Kevin Chapman’s face…. I just can’t. (Why hasn’t anyone posted these yet?)
ETA: I figured out why I like Kevin’s face so much here. It looks like he just got done saying “Yeah, hi to you, too” or “What are we, dating?”
