My friend’s thoughts on Game of Thrones (the book)
When Eddard dies I was heartbroken :( After reading a few reviews this morning, I realize killing off beloved characters seems to be what the author likes to do. But I was totally unprepared. The following chapters make me really hate him! He is such a cruel, cruel author, so manipulative, totally having readers at his mercy. Still I’m very glad I read this book. Not sure if I want to continue though. My heart is too frail. (If any of the remaining direwolves die, I definitely won’t have the courage to go through.)
